The 2008 MOSCHOFILERO is light and friendly, easy going and charming and very fruity on opening. That’s not all there is, though. It has a certain welcome minerality to it and earthy demeanor—relatively speaking—that emerges with a little aeration. There is very good underlying acidity. As is typical, it will be best drunk fresh and young, the type of wine that loses a little every 6-12 months as time goes on. Drink now-2011.
