Michel's 2013 Hermitage is a classic representation of the vintage, and offers textbook minerality and scorched earth-like characteristics to go with beautiful cassis, black raspberry, black cherry and violet aromas and flavors. Medium to full-bodied, vibrant, sappy and downright lively, it has bright acidity and fine, polished tannin. It needs 3-4 years of cellaring and will have two decades of overall longevity.
