The 2012 Cerasuolo di Vittoria Classico is composed of 60% Nero d'Avola and 40% Frappato. This is a well composed and refreshing red wine that reveals bright berry nuances that are focused and well proportioned. The hearty and fleshy Nero d'Avola side of the wine makes a perfect partner to the graceful and feminine Frappato side. That symmetry is also evident in the mouth where the wine imparts silky tannins and a dry finish.
