In both 1992 and 1993 Gardine has made classic, full-bodied, rich wines with considerable extract and concentration. The 1993 offers a deep, saturated ruby/purple color, smoky new oak in the nose accompanied by forceful, jammy, black-cherry, and peppery scents. Full-bodied, with excellent depth and moderate tannin, it will benefit from 2-4 years of cellaring; it should keep for 15 years.
