Breuer's 2021 Sp?tburgunder Pinot Noir opens with a coolish, fresh, spicy and very elegant bouquet of dark cherries and berries intertwined with discreet toasty notes. Light and fresh yet also intense and stimulatingly fine and juicy, this is a structured, saline and highly stimulating Pinot that should not be enjoyed too warm but at 15 to 16 degrees Celsius (57 to 50 degrees Fahrenheit). The wine reveals sour acidity on the aftertaste, which is really refreshing and fruity. 12% stated alcohol. Diam cork. Tasted at the domaine in September 2023.
