This is a consistently well-made Bordeaux Superieur from Salignac, just north of Libourne. Although not up to the level of the 2005, the 2004 Beaulieu Comtes de Tastes is an elegant, pretty wine offering notes of sweet and sour cherries intermixed with cedar and toasty oak. A nice texture, medium body, and immediate accessibility suggest it should be consumed over the next 4-5 years.
