The 2004 Cabernet Sauvignon 20 Barrels contains 10% Merlot in the blend. It was aged for 16 months in 100% new French oak and comes from the same vineyard as Concha y Toro’s flagship Cabernet Sauvignon, Don Melchor, arguably one of Chile’s top 5 wines. While the 20 Barrels Cabernet is excellent, it leans out in the slightly warm finish. Cono Sur produces a wide range of excellent values, both red and white.
