From a high altitude (800 meters) vineyard planted in granite, with vines ranging from 18 to 80 years of age, this 2004 is fashioned from the indigenous Godello grape. A light straw color with a greenish hue is followed by a wine with surprising body, persistence, and undeniable minerality combined with notes of lemon/lime-like liqueur, crisp underlying acidity, and fine depth. This distinctive, singular dry white can be enjoyed over the next several years.Importer: Eric Solomon, European Cellars, Charlotte, NC; tel. (704) 358-1565
