This is one of the few instances where the 2008 performed better than the 2010 when tasted side by side. Trust me, there is nothing wrong with the 2010 as it possesses excellent, possibly outstanding black raspberry, blueberry, earth and acacia flower-like characteristics. The wine’s soft tannin, medium-bodied mouthfeel and less massiveness than most 2010s suggest it will be ready early and drink well for a decade.
