The 1998 Gran Reserva is 100% Tempranillo aged for 24 months in 25% new and 75% used French and American oak before being bottled unfiltered. This medium ruby-colored wine exhibits a classy nose of cedar, Asian spices, earth, tobacco, and red currants. It offers a mature palate with sweet fruit and no hard edges to its elegant personality.
