There's a slight green edge to the nose of the 2020 Sauvignon Blanc—something along the lines of chili pepper, mint and lime zest—plus hints of tropical fruit and pink grapefruit. Concentrated and flavorful, this medium-bodied effort is gently silky in texture, with terrific length on the mouthwatering, citrusy finish. Probably the best vintage of this wine I've tasted since I began reviewing New Zealand wines in 2000.
