The 2008 Gewurztraminer Nussbaumer flows with rich, honeyed passion fruit, ginger, spices, and lime zest, all of which come together in a style that is at once rich yet light on its feet. The wine reveals terrific density and volume with great overall balance. Anticipated maturity: 2010-2016. This is a wonderful set of new releases from Tramin, one of Alto Adige’s oldest and most successful cooperatives. The level of quality here is truly stunning.
