A full-bodied, opulent expression of the variety, one-third of Mollydooker's 2020 The Violinist Verdelho was barrel fermented and aged in new oak (two-thirds American and one-third French), while the rest was made in tank. Intensely floral and stone-fruited on the nose, it's broad in the mouth and richly textured, finishing with touches of anise, white pepper and alcoholic warmth (it's 15.5% alcohol on the label).
