A great food wine for pasta or oven-roasted lasagna, the 2013 Rosso di Montepulciano shows a bright ruby color and approachable fruit tones of cherry, blackberry and raspberry. Despite the simplicity of the fruit, there are touches of spice and toasted nut at the back. This wine shows a brighter, more pronounced acidic vein that will cut through fatty foods or grated Parmigiano.
