The 2006 La Llopetera is medium ruby in color with aromas of earthy black fruits, tar, and black licorice. This is a backward, terroir-driven effort that will require another 4-5 years of cellaring to shed its austere persona. Celler Escoda Sanahuja farms its vineyards biodynamically.
