Both of the Saint Péray were outstanding and show the potential from this up and coming appellation. The 2013 Saint-Peray Les Pins is a blend of Marsanne and Roussanne that spent 8-9 months in 10% new French oak. Exotic, perfumed and complex, with notes of fresh citrus, lime, mint and orange blossom, it’s medium-bodied, juicy and lively on the palate, with vibrant acidity that comes through on the finish. Drink it over the coming couple of years.
