Vintners across Tuscany marveled at the picture-perfect fruit obtained in this classic vintage. The 2015 Rosso di Montepulciano is executed in both wood and cement vats. The wine is composed of 80% Sangiovese and 20% Merlot, and the first vintage made was 1989. Fruit comes from the estate's youngest vines. It is not bottled at one time. Instead, bottling occurs over six sessions. This is a light and informal red with dark fruit and smoky afternotes. The palate is full and generous. Some 250,000 bottles were made.
