Moderately intense aromas of plums, cherries, balsam, and spice are found in the dark ruby-colored 2000 Chateauneuf du Pape La Comtesse. Medium to full-bodied, with noticeable tannin, a sweet mid-palate, and an angular, dry finish, it should be drunk between 2003-2014. No known American importer.
