The 2013 Recioto di Soave La Perlara (500-milliliters) opens to a deep golden color with luminous amber and copper highlights. This is a bright and polished dessert wine with generous aromas of candied fruit, apricot, almond marzipan, brown sugar and maple syrup. This beautiful Recioto di Soave reveals thick consistency and long flavors of honey, spice, raisin and yellow fruit. Garganega grapes are dried for up to six months and the wine is fermented in barrique.
