The finest of the red wines is the 2004 XCLNT Tinto, a blend of 40% Garnacha, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 20% Syrah aged 16 months in French oak. The color is a glass-coating opaque purple and is followed by a huge nose of pain grille, graphite, sausage, black currants, and blueberry. The wine is mouth-filling with layers of concentrated black fruits and excellent balance. There is enough baby fat to make the wine enjoyable now and it should continue to drink well for at least a decade.
Care should be commended for their excellent artist labels as well as for a fine portfolio of wines.
