The 2008 Cabernet Sauvignon gives a deep garnet-purple color and intense aromas of blackberries and crushed blueberries, cigar boxes, cloves, cinnamon and peppercorns. The medium bodied palate gives a nice concentration of fruit enlivened with medium to high acidity and supported by a medium level of grainy tannins.
