Elegant and polished is the 2005 Alisos, a blend of 75% Cabernet Sauvignon and 25% Merlot. Ripe berry, chocolate, strawberry, herb, incense, spice, and a hint of wood result in an attractive first impression for this spicy, medium-bodied red. It is best drunk over the next 4-5 years.
