The 2018 Barolo Buon Padre is tight and streamlined with an elegant delivery of small berry fruit and sour cherry. Nebbiolo's silky fruit is enhanced by blood orange, rusty nail and crushed stone. Buon Padre is in fact an ambitious blend from nine vineyard sites: Bricco delle Viole, San Pietro, La Volta, Fossati, Alessandria, San Ponzi, Albarella, Ravera and Terlo.

A linear red, with aromas of rose petal, cherry, strawberry and iron allied with a firm spine of tannins. Though on the austere side now, this is balanced and long overall. Best from 2025 through 2040. 4,333 cases made, 2,500 cases imported.??–BS??Region: Italy / Piedmont / Barolo Select to Add
