Stones and minerals can be found in the aromatics of the 2000 Pinot Blanc Rosenberg de Wettolsheim. One-fourth of this wine was aged in oak barrels and its malo-lactic fermentation was not blocked. Armed with excellent depth, this light to medium-bodied beauty is broad, creamy, rich, and filled with flavors reminiscent of pears and minerals. Anticipated maturity: Now-2007.
