The 2009 Alghero Thilion is 50% Torbato and 50% Sauvignon fermented in oak. All of the elements come together beautifully in this textured white. The oak is deftly balanced, while the Sauvignon provides the aromatic lift that keeps the wine lively. Sweet but unobtrusive notes from the oak linger on the finish. Anticipated maturity: 2011-2016.
