Chapoutier appears to be building more stuffing into his bottom line Cotes du Rhone as evidenced by the 2000 Belleruche. A blend of equal parts Syrah and Grenache, it exhibits a deep ruby color as well as a sweet nose of black fruits, licorice, herbes de Provence, and earth.
