The 1997 Chardonnay Arroyo Grande Valley possesses a medium straw color with a green-ish hue. Subtle aromas of minerals, honeyed citrus, and oak waft gently from the glass. Good underlying acidity buttresses a medium to full-bodied, complex Chardonnay. It should continue to drink well for 2-3 years.
