The purple-colored 2008 Cabernet Sauvignon (70%)-Merlot (30%) was aged for 12 months in a mix of new and used French oak. Aromas of cedar, allspice, and black currant lead to a medium to full-bodied wine with plenty of ripe, spicy fruit, a solid mid-palate, good grip and depth, and a fruit-filled finish.
