This wine offers a saturated ruby/purple color, followed by a knock-out nose of briery fruit, charcoal, chocolate, and peppery spice. In the mouth, there is some rusticity to the wine's structure, but it provides a full-bodied, exciting combination of blackberry and cherry fruit supported by copious quantities of glycerin, as well as decent acidity. It will offer a compelling mouthful of Zinfandel over the next 5-6 years.
