Beautiful sweet raspberry, wild mountain berry, incense, wood smoke, and autumnal vegetation-like characteristics emerge from the 2006 Pinot Noir Ferrington Vineyard. Its underbrush component along with pure fruit, medium to full body, sweet tannin, and good acidity make for a gorgeous Pinot to drink over the next 5-6 years. These wines were a remarkable discovery. Anderson Valley is becoming one of the “hot” new cool climate sources of not only white varietals, but also increasing quantities of high quality Pinot Noir.
