The 2007 The Bully Cabernet Sauvignon contains 15% Merlot and 5% Petit Verdot sourced from the Kiona Vineyard and aged in 100% new French oak. A dense purple color with aromas of toasty new oak, graphite, incense, spice box, blackberry, and a hint of balsamic, on the palate it is powerful, structured, and mouth-filling. Give it 4-5 years of additional cellaring and drink it through 2027, perhaps longer. Wonderfully rich, with a lush and luxurious mid-palate, this young wine is packed with berries and cassis, elevated with some citrusy acidity, and deep with notes of gravel and smoke.
