The 2000 Palomero Vendimia Seleccionada, which was aged 35 months in oak prior to being bottled unfiltered, exhibits more potential for longevity, but was more closed and firmer structured than its sibling. The color is a saturated ruby purple, and the aromas reveal additional notes of pain grille and vanilla, with medium to full body, sweet black cherry and currant fruit.
