The very limited but superb 100% Syrah VdP Les Hautes Terraces is aged in a combination of small barrels and 600-liter demi-muids. This is blockbuster stuff in 2004 with blackberry liqueur in the nose as well as tapenade, spice box, bay leaf, and mineral.
