Very clear and bright in color, the 2012 Zeltinger Schlossberg Riesling Auslese * has a nice, precise, cool and stony Riesling aroma intertwined with herbal flavors. Picked late (November 5), and bottled with 8% alcohol and almost 89 grams of residual sugar, this full-bodied, elegant, sweet and lush wine is very delicate and enormously juicy on the palate, but also reveals a nice purity and salinity in the finish. The aging potential should be enormous.

Redolent of peaches and cream, this offers plenty of pastry notes as well. Luscious midpalate, with passion fruit and dried mango details. Features an open-textured finish, accented by freesia hints. Drink now through 2042.??–KM??Region: Germany / Mosel Select to Add
