With a touch of botrytis (5%), the 2018 Zeltinger Schlossberg Riesling Auslese * is fresh and flinty on the coolish, bright, airy and lemon-scented nose. Piquant, fresh and thoroughly limey on the palate, this is a moderately sweet and racy-piquant Auslese with an intense and juicy finish with grip and tension. Very young, this one will be much more pleasurable in 10-12 years. Tasted at the domain in September 2020.
