Looking at the 2011s, the Cotes du Rhone Villages Signargues is an elegant, character-filled effort that has loads of black cherry, leather, licorice and spicy notes to go with a medium-bodied, fresh and nicely balance palate feel. Delicious and easy-drinking, it should be enjoyed over the coming couple of years. Drink now-2017.
Created in 2008, and covering a scant 10 acres in Chateauneuf du Pape, this tiny winery is owned and run by Pierre-Henri Morel, who also works with Michel Chapoutier. Both these 2011s and 2012s are his best wines to date and readers need to check out these wines!
