The 2012 Crozes Hermitage is a good effort that offers some smoky, meaty notes, as well as some background herbaceous and earthy qualities. Medium-bodied, with some astringency to its tannin, it should be consumed in its first 4-6 years of life. This was a good, yet certainly not inspiring, lineup from this domaine.
