The 2008 Shiraz-Viognier (8%) was co-fermented and aged in new French barriques for 14 months. A glass-coating opaque purple color, it receives a floral lift from the Viognier. Aromas of incense, violets, Asian spices, and blueberry jump from the glass. On the palate it is medium to full-bodied with layers of spicy, succulent black fruits. Nicely balanced, it can be enjoyed now but will evolve for several years.Importer: Click Wine Group, Seattle, WA; tel. (800) 859-0689
