The 2004 “The Good Doctor” Pinot Noir is a bit darker in color than the Charleston and more substantial on the palate with tasty cherry and raspberry fruit and some structure. The wine reveals tannin in the finish which time may not resolve. Nepenthe, owned by the Tweddell Family, began as a viticulture management company before starting their own winery, located in Lenswood, Adelaide Hills, in 1994.Importer: Click Wine Group, Seattle, WA; www.nepenthe.com.au; Also tasted: 2006 Pinot Gris (82)
