Medium amber-brown colored, the NV Classic Rutherglen Muscat gives pronounced notes of dark brown sugar, plum pudding, roasted walnuts and raisin cake with a whiff of coffee. Very, very sweet, full and unctuous in the mouth, it has crisp balancing acid and a very long treacle and nut finish. Drink it now. The Rutherglen fortified wines are stored in seasoned 450 liter oak casks and a solera system is used to mature the wines.
