The 1996 Crozes-Hermitage Petite Ruche, which is aged completely in cuve and already bottled, displays a deep ruby/purple color, followed by a gorgeous nose of blackberry/cassis fruit, not much complexity, but fine acidity, and gobs of ripe fruit in a medium-bodied format. Drink it over the next 3-4 years.
