Shrewd buyers have been searching out this wine from Patrick Campbell's Laurel Glen winery for the last several years. And why not? Laurel Glen's Cabernet Sauvignon (I rated barrel samples of the soon-to-be released 1991 in the low to mid-nineties) is on strict allocation and costs $30 or more a bottle. At $10 a bottle, the 1991 Terra Rosa is one of the best buys in the marketplace. Its terrific nose of Provencal herbs, black-cherries, and cassis, is followed by a deep, concentrated, supple wine that is all that a dry, rich, complex red wine should be. Quality such as this normally costs $25-$50 a bottle. Buy it by the case and enjoy it over the next 4-6 years.
