Quite apricot-driven and rich, the 2019 Condrieu is a full-bodied, expressive example of Viognier. It has enough floral and spice nuances to keep it interesting, with pronounced white pepper notes, a ripe, silky feel in the mouth and a lingering finish that finds a nice textural balance somewhere between oily and dusty. Drink it over the next year or two.
