The fabulous, saturated dark ruby/purple-colored 1999 Zinfandel Tofanelli Vineyard (450 cases, 16.1% natural alcohol) is reminiscent of a wine from the southern Rhone. It displays a knock-out bouquet of black fruits intertwined with licorice, asphalt, pepper, and spice.
