A traditionally made blend of 54% Grenache, 38% Syrah, and the balance Carignan and Mourvedre, the 2011 Vacqueyras Cuvee Signature is a medium-bodied, focused and firm 2011 that will benefit from another year in bottle. Possessing classic spice-cabinet, cedar, ground herbs and licorice-style aromas and flavors, it should have upward of a decade of longevity. Covering roughly 75 acres (37 of which are in Vacqueyras), Domaine des Amouriers has produced two solid 2011s, both of which see some stem inclusion and aging all in concrete tanks.
