The 2006 Seis de Azul y Garanza is 85% Cabernet Sauvignon and 15% Merlot aged for 6 months in new oak. It is purple-colored with a fragrant bouquet of black currants and blackberry liqueur that jumps from the glass. This is followed by a layered, succulent wine with outstanding richness and concentration. Another 2-3 years of cellaring will be beneficial and it should be at its best from 2010 to 2018.
