The lineup begins with the entry level 2006 Pinot Noir Mt. Jefferson Cuvee, a medium ruby-colored wine with an attractive bouquet of spice box, cherry, and raspberry. On the palate it is sweet, plush, and easy-going with good concentration and excellent length. Drink it over the next four years.
Continuity is the custom at Cristom Vineyards where the founder Paul Gerrie remains at the helm and the original winemaker, Steve Doerner still fashions world-class Pinot Noirs.
