The 2001 Reserva, a blend of 50% Garnacha and 50% Tempranillo, is medium ruby-colored. It exhibits nicely developed aromas of cedar, tobacco, cherry and red currants. Medium-bodied, it is soft and supple on the palate with good concentration as well as elegance. Drink this surprisingly sophisticated wine over the next 2-3 years. Abrazo’s offerings from Carinena are all good values.Importer: Axial Wines USA; www.axialvinos.com
