The unoaked 2008 Guitian (née Godello Joven) was fermented and raised in stainless steel. Medium straw in color, it exhibits an enticing perfume of mineral, spring flowers, honey, citrus and melon. On the palate, it displays lively acidity, impeccable balance and some elegance. Drink this full-flavored effort over the next 2-3 years. Both of these offerings were sourced from Guitian’s estate La Tapada vineyard planted to Godello in 1985.
