The 2015 Mystae is a blend of 48% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot, 11% Cabernet Franc, 7% Malbec and 4% Petit Verdot, raised in 40% new oak and 60% second use barrels (both French and American). It's cedary on the nose, with menthol accents to the cassis fruit, while on the palate, it's full-bodied and creamy. Hints of licorice and violets add nuance on the long, plush finish. There's plenty of concentration here, with yields held under two tons per acre.
